OHSA System

The OHSA (Open Hole Stand-Alone) system enables a simple and reliable sand control in horizontal wells. The tool is available for circulation and prevents backwash with the floating shoe during RIH.

Two types of setting tools could be included in the system, the FHA setting tool has a shear-able ball seat that could be sheared after the packer is set, and no reversing out is needed; the FHA-A setting tool has a setting port protection design to prevent premature setting during circulation, the ball need to be reversed out after setting the packer. The FX float shoe is selected by default with a double check valve design, and FXA float shoe is an option that enables auto-filling during RIH.
