On June 23rd 2019, the sand control and water injection integrated pipe string of well A…2 in Caofeidian 11-1 Oilfield undertaken by our company was successfully completed. Well A…2 is an injection well, but the top layer needs fine water injection, which has some technical difficulties such as large injection rate, super-large well inclination, small injection hole and sand control issues. It is the first well in Bohai oilfield, and also the first well in China with super-large discharge capacity and subdivision type and there was no matured literature to reference as a means of experience.
As the task of maintaining and increasing production in bohai oilfield increases and the environmental management becomes more and more strict, such integrated technological applications of sand control and water injection has a lot of market potential/prospects.
