The year 2020 was marked on the Chinese calendar as the YEAR OF THE RAT. The Rat in the Chinese zodiac animals signifies the Earthly Branch (dì zhī) and in terms of Yin and Yang (yīn yang), the Rat is yang representing the beginning of a new year. In Chinese culture, rats are seen as a sign of wealth and surplus because of their reproductive rate.
At the start of the year marked as the Spring Festival in China, the covid-19 outbreak stood root and eventually as the months passes by have become a pandemic around the world.
Faced with the sudden outbreak of COVID-19, the company attached great importance to it and started to continuously promote the scientific prevention and control of the outbreak in an orderly manner.
On February 1st, Dongying Ruifeng Petrotech & Ruixin established a core command group for epidemic prevention and control, activated the manager-on-duty system, and formulated an emergency contingency plan requiring all department heads to bear their responsibilities, that is correctly guiding employees to increase their awareness of prevention and control in conjunction with keeping up to date with rapidly updated national epidemic prevention and control measures adapted.
Quick action to ensure unimpeded information about epidemic control and mitigation.
On January 28, the company began to trace and record employees' health status and location through WeChat mini-programs, to promote reliable in-house employees contact tracing for efficient epidemic prevention and control.
On February 1st, the company’s manager-on-duty system was fully activated to efficiently disseminate the relevant information and policies from the Economic and Technological Development Section of the Dongying Local Government on how the resumption of work and production should commerce. This was conducted smoothly due to the initiatives earlier put in place by Ruifeng Petrotech & Ruixin to keep the administrative department at its posts during the Spring Festival. This enable us to be abreast with all of the epidemic situation and relevant policies and requirements of the local government, and relay this relevant prevention and control requirements of the local government to the departmental manager-on-duty when we finally started operations. Daily documentation and weekly summarization of Covid-19 mitigation and control measures ensures the flow of information and if warranted, the timely intervention and response to issues.
Implementing the proper allocations of needed material.
In early February, the Administration Department was equipped with disinfectants, infrared thermometers, masks, disposable tableware and required PPE to perform the disinfection, sanitation and cleaning of our premises. During the epidemic period, qualified personnel were deployed to disinfect and sterilize the assembly workshops as well as the office premises by cleaning office furniture and canteen/dining areas.
Strict administrative management and practical details of prevention and control. Strict personnel entry and exit management system, strict control of personnel entering and exiting the company, requiring daily temperature checks of employees entering the company premises to understand the health status of employees and establishing a control management system. In order to ensure the safety of employees,
the administrative department allocated rooms for employees who returned to Dongying to self-quarantined and have their temperature taken daily every morning and evening for 14 days as instructed by and mandated as part of the local government requirements. In order to effectively apply social distancing even on our work premises, employees were spaced out in the offices with majority of them working from work to ensure sufficient space for social distancing. Every employees was provided with nose masks and were required to wear them at all times. Alcohol based sanitizers were provided throughout the premises on each floors and each office space. To minimize the likelihood of congregating for meals in the canteen, disposable hardware for dining such as plastic container and cutlery is provided for each employee at their designated allocated times for going for their packaged takeout meals.
Cooperate closely with local government departments and adhering to their laid down prevention and control measures.
The company's administrative department submits relevant materials to the appropriate departments of the Economic and Technological Development Section of the Dongying Local Government on a daily manner, accurately reflecting the movement of our workforce. The company in turn communicate all the relevant policy requirements of government departments to each employee to help return to post in a timely and smooth manner. In the process of cooperating with the appropriate authorities and abiding by the policy requirements for resumption of production, Ruifeng Petrotech was successively approved to continue with the mitigation steps adopted in the control of the Covid-19 pandemic and resume full operations.
