Between August 24 to September 2nd, 2019, Ruifeng Petrotech successfully completed it’s widely domestically accepted horizontal well completion on its first projects in the Chenghai block of the Dagang Tanhai market.
This accomplishment was significant because it was the first project to use Ruifeng Petrotech’s sand control technology of gravel packing using ultra-light proppants in horizontal wells. The two successful projects were for 2 horizontal wells with their horizontal sections being over 500m long.
These accomplishment in our first trial in the Dagang Tanhai market vastly reaffirmed our reputation as a forward thinking and innovative privately owned Chinese oilfield service provider constantly improving our technology to meet the demands of the market.
This resulted in Ruifeng Petrotech being awarded an additional 6 wells by the client in the Chenghai block of the Dagang Tanhai market. This achievement was captured in CNOOC internal journals as depicted below.
