"The pilot experiment of pre-packed screen-gravel packing technology" is a CNOOC-funded experimental project part of the "13th Five-Year Plan" key scientific research project. "Research on Key Technologies of Deepwater Drilling and Completion in the South China Sea".
On October 10, 2019, CNOOC Zhanjiang Branch's Deepwater drilling and completion project team came to witness and evaluate the function tests at Dongying Ruifeng Petrotech to conduct the review and acceptance of the gravel packing experiment of pre-packed screen.
During the period, the R & D team took them through the project progress, experimental plan and test preparations made to adequately execute the experiment. The entire experimental process was witnessed by the CNOOC project team through the visual high definition monitoring equipment. After the experiment was done, the project team from CNOOC signed off and gave their approval for the successful progress made.
After the review of the scientific research project was completed, the CNOOC project team went to our manufacturing base (Qingdao Ruixin) to conduct the on-site supervision and manufacturing start-up meeting for the production of shunt-tube and premium screens for the Deepwater Drilling and Completion Lingshui 17-2 project. The Lingshui 17-2 project is China's first deep-water self-operated large gas field with reserves exceeding 100 billion cubic meters. Ruifeng Petrotech is the only private domestic service provider on this project.
