Overcoming difficulties with courage and showcasing one's prowess, Ruifeng Petroleum has successfully completed the wellbore filling operation using the small wellbore and long well section method in the South China Sea oilfield

In June 2024, the filling work for two 6-inch small wellbore 700-meter open-hole horizontal well sections in an oilfield project in the South China Sea was successfully completed. The initial production reached 230 cubic meters per day, far exceeding the production quota requirements, and accumulated valuable experience for sand control and water control in shallow loose formations of the offshore small wellbore.

The construction environment of this project was complex, with problems such as potential leakage, small wellbore, low fracture pressure, and narrow pressure window. It was a challenging task. The Ruifeng project team leveraged the professional advantages of sand control filling, using the Ruifeng RFSP open-hole filling system for horizontal wells, repeatedly simulating construction parameters, formulating plans, and handling initial issues, ensuring the smooth progress of the construction.

The success of this project demonstrated the reliability of Ruifeng's sand control tools and the professional competence of the technical service team.
