HR Hydraulic-Set Retrievable Packer

The Model “ HR” packer is a hydraulic-set retrievable packer for isolating the annulus from the production conduit. Packer setting is achieved by applying a predetermined tubing pressure after run a tubing plugging device below the packer. A segmented internal slip maintains the packer in the set position. This packer features upper hold down button slip and lower dovetail slip. The button slip that are actuated by annulus pressure from below set against differential pressure from below, and the lower dovetail slip holds the packer set against downward force and it is easy to retract after packer released. The packer requires only straight upward pull the tubing string to release and the field-adjustable value is available. It can be used for single or multiple packer completions, especially suitable for deep and deviated wells.
